Main Research Interests Chris' research interests are located in the related fields of school improvement, effectiveness and educational leadership. Chris has led a number of externally funded research projects (eg. DfES, SSAT, NCSL,) exploring the relationship between school improvement and collaboration in urban and challenging contexts. Chris has also worked in a development and research capacity as a consultant and advisor to both schools and local authorities. Main Teaching Interests Chris is the Course Director for the M.Ed in Educational Leadership and School Improvement. His main teaching interests are school improvement in challenging contexts, educational change, school inspection and action research.
