Research Interests

My main interests lie in a number of fields that link together my own subject area with key professional issues. These include researching into teacher training including the teacher identity development of trainee teachers; the 14 - 19 curriculum in business education and its impact on teachers and pupils; policy changes in education; teacher identity and leadership in education.

Teaching

I teach on PGCE Business Education, BA Hons Management and Leisure, MA Evidence Based Learning and a Leading from the Middle professional programme. In recognition of my good practice in teaching I received a University award for the academic year of 2003 - 2004.
