Established in 1988, the Centre for Formative Assessment Studies (CFAS) is one of the longest established research units in England in the areas of education and social science evaluations.
Our Aims
The Centre was founded to develop research into formative assessment issues. The philosophy underpinning all CFAS's work is the linking of teaching, learning and assessment.
