Research Partnership with ACER
CFAS and the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) having a mutual interest in educational research, have established a close working relationship. The agreement to collaborate and develop a relationship in research matters has been formalized through an official Memorandum of Understanding.ACER

Today, ACER is one of the world's leading educational research centres, committed to creating and distributing research-based knowledge, products and services to improve learning across the lifespan in both formal and informal settings. ACER's mission is to create and disseminate knowledge and tools that can be used to improve learning.

Research Links with UAE
CFAS has a working research link with the Centre for Civic Education and Development Research in the United Arab Emirates. Director Dr Shaykhah al Shamesi.
CFAS (Bill Boyle) has worked on curriculum design and assessment development research with Dr Shaykhah al Shamesi since 2001. Current joint activities include research into UAE schools teaching and learning environments and the identification of relevant local school support strategies.
