Primary Partnership

The Department of Education and partnership schools are proud of the teachers who are trained each year on the course.

"The partnership schools are highly committed to the course providing high quality experiences for trainees and thus for the children they teach this year and in subsequent years."

Allan Torr
Headteacher of Elmwood Primary School

Aspects of the Partnership

High Quality Experiences

Trainees spend over 54% of the course in schools and recieve training across the whole curriculum. Partnership schools are highly committed to giving trainees the best possible experience.

Taught Course

Staff from partnership schools assist in course planning and delivery. Coordinators help to plan the year and representatives on the advisory group plan training and other events.

Each subject on the course is planned by a small group of partnership teachers and tutors.

Schools

Over 100 schools provide training within the partnership. They are situated in Greater Manchester LEAs including Bolton, Trafford, Tameside, Manchester, Bury, Stockport, Rochdale, Salford, Oldham and North Cheshire and Southern Lancashire.

Partnership Agreement

All partnership organisations adhere to the partnership agreement.
