School of Education

Shima Osaimi

I studied Computer Science at King Saud University and worked as an IT co-ordinator in a leading international technical academy in Riyadh. I wanted to make use of my technical knowledge in the education sector and that took me to Manchester. I particularly appreciated the feeling of being in a well-recognised university, and the relevance of my studies both to my past experience and to my future aims. Recently I joined the Faculty of Computer Studies at the Arab Open University where teaching is mainly ICT based and find that I am now applying all my experiences in the Higher Education sector in Saudi Arabia.
