Current projects include: development work in curriculum and assessment systems in Pakistan, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait and primary teacher development in Vietnam (World Bank); director of the sole national longitudinal database for curriculum and assessment in England; research into models of professional development for teachers.

Recently manager for the QCA Monitoring Curriculum and Assessment Project and the NAA's collection of optional test data for Y7 and Y8 2006,2007. Andrew is now involved in the production of an Assessment for Learning DVD being produced in conjuntion with 186 media.
