Current projects include: development work in curriculum and assessment systems in Pakistan,  Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait and primary teacher development in Vietnam (World Bank); director of the sole national longitudinal database for curriculum and assessment in England; research into models of professional development for teachers.

Andrew Fryers

Centre manager and Project manager for the Centre's research projects.  Recently manager for the QCA Monitoring Curriculum and Assessment Project and the NAA's collection of optional test data for Y7 and Y8 2006,2007.  Andrew is now involved in the production of an Assessment for Learning DVD being produced in conjuntion with 186 media.

Senior researcher and lead researcher on the MCA research oproject.  Qualitative analyst specialising in school and pupil outcomes and background variables.

Paul has recently provided research and administrative support on QCA's Monitoring Curriculum and assessment project in addition to the NAA's Collection of Optional Test Data in years 7 and 8.

Consultants

CFAS also has a team of consultants/associates who have all held senior management positions in schools/LEAs and have worked in a range of support initiatives within schools/LEAs.
